Salisha Allard-Blaisdell, PhD, MPA has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Salisha has served as the Development Director at GKFolks Foundation, where they collaborated with non-profit managers to create goals and objectives for BIPOC communities. Salisha has also worked as a Co-Founder of Dissertation Warriors, a doctoral peer mentoring group, at Northwest University. In this role, they provided support and mentoring to doctoral students and taught writing, research, and presentation skills. Salisha Allard-Blaisdell, PhD, MPA has a diverse education history. Salisha began their academic journey in 2008 at Brigham Young University–Hawaii, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 2012. Following their undergraduate studies, Salisha pursued a Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Teaching at Riverside City College from 2012 to 2013.

In 2014, Salisha enrolled in Rutgers University - Newark, where they earned a Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration in Health Care Administration. This program provided their with a deeper understanding of the intricacies of managing and administrating health care services.

Continuing their education, Salisha then attended Salt Lake Community College from 2016 to 2019, where they completed an Associate of Science degree in Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies. This program enhanced their writing and communication skills.

Salisha then returned to Northwest University in 2019 to pursue further education. Salisha simultaneously pursued two degrees, a Master of Arts in Applied Leadership Theory and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organizational Leadership. These programs have equipped their with advanced knowledge and skills in leadership and have allowed their to contribute to the scholarly field of organizational leadership.

Additionally, Salisha has obtained a certification in Early Childhood Education from the Riverside Community College District in June 2013, further indicating their commitment to the field of education and teaching.
