Sarah Strother

Sarah Strother has had extensive experience in the publishing industry, holding various roles in different organizations. Sarah worked at Glacier Media Inc. from 2008 to 2013, starting as the Director of Special Projects and later becoming the Regional Manager for Sea-to-Sky Publications. Sarah also served as the President of Whistler Publishing LP during their time there. Strother then went on to become the Publisher of Pique Newsmagazine in 2013 and the Publisher of Squamish Chief in 2019. In addition to their publishing roles, Strother has also served as a Board Director for the Whistler Chamber of Commerce and the BC and Yukon Community Newspapers Association, where they eventually became the President from 2018 to 2020. Prior to their time at Glacier Media Inc., Strother held the position of Vice President of Operations at Hollinger Canadian Newspapers GP, where they were responsible for managing operations of multiple newspapers.

Sarah Strother completed their Honours Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Toronto - University of Trinity College from 1990 to 1994.
