Lorna Goldie

Lorna Goldie is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Head of Resources and Senior Finance Business Partner for Neighbourhoods and Sustainability at Glasgow City Council since September 2018. Prior to this role, Lorna worked at the same council as Finance and Business Support Manager for Education Services from May 2005 to May 2015. Earlier career positions include Chief Accountant and Future City Workstream Lead, Finance Manager at Renfrewshire Council, and Accountant at East Dunbartonshire Council. Lorna began the finance career as an NHS Finance Trainee at the NHS Management Development Group. Educational qualifications include a CPFA obtained from CIPFA and a BA Hons in Business Economics with Finance from the University of the West of Scotland, alongside attendance at Eastbank Academy.
