Michelle McGinty is the Head of Corporate Policy & Governance at Glasgow City Council. Michelle previously worked as the Head of Strategic Communications for Glasgow 2018, the News Editor for Business A.M., and the Senior Advisor to the Leader for Glasgow City Council. Before that, they worked as a reporter for the Edinburgh Evening News and the Lancaster Guardian.

Michelle McGinty has a Master of Arts in Politics from The University of Edinburgh.
