Alan Wilson

Alan Wilson is a highly experienced data scientist with a strong background in machine learning and data processing. Currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at Glassdoor since March 2014, Alan has developed innovative forecasting systems for ad pricing and tools for job ad sales, utilizing advanced data processing and modeling techniques. Previous roles include Insight Fellow at Insight Data Science, where Alan developed a web application for analyzing news coverage, and Research Fellow at the University of Michigan, contributing to the discovery of the Higgs boson through advanced data analysis. Alan holds a PhD in Physics and an MS in Mathematics from the University of Michigan, in addition to dual BS degrees in Mathematical Sciences and Computer Engineering from the University of Washington.
