Gerhard Weinrebe

Gerhard Weinrebe has had a long and successful career. Gerhard started at the Universität Stuttgart in 1997 as a Projektleiter. In 1994, they moved to DLR as an Area Head Power Towers. In 2020, they became a Director at sbp sonne. Prior to that, they were an Associate and Head of R & D at sbp sonne gmbh from 2000-2020. Most recently, they were appointed General Manager CSP at GlassPoint, Inc in 2023.

Gerhard Weinrebe obtained their Abitur from ASG Neckarsulm in 1984, majoring in English and Physics. Gerhard then attended the University of Stuttgart from 1984-1990, where they earned a Dipl.-Ing. in Aerospace Engineering. Finally, they returned to the University of Stuttgart from 1997-2000 to obtain a Dr.-Ing. in Energy Technology.
