Oliver Newton

Oliver Newton is a skilled Senior Scientist at GSK since September 2022 and continues to contribute as a Postgraduate Researcher at Imperial College London since September 2017. With a background in chemistry, Oliver holds a PhD from Imperial College London and a Master’s degree from Loughborough University. Previous experience includes serving as a School of Science Ambassador at Loughborough University, enhancing communication skills while engaging prospective students and parents. Oliver also participated in an EPSRC Summer research bursary, collaborating on asymmetric organocatalysis under the supervision of Professor Andrei Malkov. Early in Oliver's career, experience as Event Staff at VCP Catering involved food preparation and customer service in a dynamic environment.
