Sophie Troiano

Sophie Troiano is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as VP of Business Development - Search & Evaluation for the commercial portfolio at GSK since September 2009. Notable roles include Product & Portfolio Strategy Director, Global Marketing Director for Respiratory Biologics, and Sales Director for Respiratory. Troiano successfully led the launch of a first-in-class biologic medicine in the UK, managing sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams. Additional roles at GSK include Senior Product Manager and Senior Healthcare Policy Manager, where Sophie focused on NHS policy and account management strategies. Troiano was an Olympic athlete in women's foil fencing for Team GB in 2012 and held a secondment as Service Redesign Project Manager at NHS Luton. Educationally, Sophie holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, completed between 2005 and 2009, with prior schooling at Westminster School.
