Anja Madhvani

Anja Madhvani has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Anja has worked as an Event & Community Lead at Glean since February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Freelance Writer specializing in food and drink, behavior change, and fitness and well-being. Anja also has extensive experience in hospitality and brewing. In 2019, Anja worked as a Marketing Assistant and Cloudwater Soda Brand Ambassador at CLOUDWATER BREW CO LTD, where they spearheaded the launch of alcohol-free sodas and managed social media channels for the product range. Anja was also a Freelance Writer for Club Soda, a mindful drinking movement, where they tasted and reviewed low and alcohol-free products. Additionally, Anja has held roles as a Sales and Marketing Assistant at Ilkley Brewery, a Freelance Writer at Beer Adventures, and a Venue Manager at Northern Monk Brew Co. Anja also worked as a Customer Relationship Specialist at Sonocent Ltd and as an Assistant Manager at The Pizza Bus. Prior to their work experience, they had a background as an accomplished classical violinist and pianist.

Anja Madhvani obtained a Bmus Hons degree in Music Technology from The University of Huddersfield from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Barnard Castle School from 2001 to 2008, completing their high school education with GCSE and A-Level qualifications. In addition to their formal education, Anja has obtained several certifications, including First Aid from St John Ambulance in 2024, a Level 3 diploma in Personal Training from Active IQ in 2023, Pole 1 & 2 Teacher Training from XPERT Fitness in 2023, APLH Award For Personal License Holders from CPL Training Group in 2014, and a WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in 2013. Anja has also completed Mental Health First Aid training through MHFA England®.
