Adrian Herbert is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the mining and metallurgy sectors. Currently serving as General Manager for Murrin Murrin Operations at Glencore, Adrian oversees nickel and cobalt mining operations, refining processes, and essential supporting infrastructure. Previous roles at Glencore included General Manager of Smelting & Refining and Chief Processing Officer for Copper. Prior to Glencore, Adrian held positions at BHP in operations management and readiness, managed a flagship cement production plant at Adelaide Brighton Ltd, and led significant projects at Nyrstar. Adrian’s career began at Rio Tinto, BHP Nickel West, and Xstrata Mount Isa Mines, focusing on metallurgical and process engineering. Adrian holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from UNSW and a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Australia.
