Alex Humphries

Alex Humphries is an experienced Landscape Architect with a robust background in public landscape projects, currently employed at Glenorchy City Council since December 2021. Previous roles include Registered Landscape Architect at Planit Consulting Pty Ltd from March 2018 to December 2021 and Project Landscape Architect positions at CUSP Landscape Architecture + Urban Design and JMD Design from 2016 to 2018 and 2014 to 2016, respectively. Beginning a career as a Graduate Landscape Architect at Landsite Pty Ltd, Alex contributed to various projects across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria, and gained foundational skills as a Horticultural Assistant at Poyntons Nursery and Landscape Technician at RPS. Academically, Alex holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture and Urban Regional Planning from Queensland University of Technology.
