Samantha Lyons

Samantha Lyons has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Samantha started as a Telemarketing Agent at IDG in 2012 and then worked as a Campaign Assistant at Aberystwyth University for a short period. In 2013, they joined Topaz Energy Ltd as a Sales Associate, where they handled customer interactions, managed the stockroom, and worked on the forecourt. Samantha then worked as a Hostess at the Pillo Hotel, where they greeted guests, coordinated meal changeovers, and handled cash transactions.

In 2014, Samantha joined Primark Stores Limited as a Retail Assistant and was later promoted to the role of Service Leader. Their responsibilities included working on the shop floor, in the stockroom, and at the customer service desk, as well as supervising cash-handling duties.

Samantha also volunteered as a Library Assistant for the Irish Prison Library Service in 2015, where they conducted various tasks such as book processing, filing, cataloguing, and dealing with donations.

Samantha worked as a Research Assistant at University College Dublin in 2017, where they assisted professors in managing references, formatting papers, and conducting tutorials. During the same period, they also worked as a Metadata Executive at Inflight Dublin, where they had responsibilities such as inputting data on various systems for content services provided to airlines worldwide.

From 2020 to 2022, Samantha was an Office Manager at Promowear.ie, where they oversaw the smooth running of the office and warehouse, managed finances and stock control, and utilized systems like Odoo and Sage.

Currently, Samantha is working as an Operations Administrator at Glenveagh Properties plc since 2022.

Samantha Lyons holds a Master of Library & Information Studies (M.L.I.S.) degree from University College Dublin, which they obtained between 2015 and 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature and Drama and Theatre Studies at Aberystwyth University, from the years 2010 to 2013. Additionally, Samantha obtained a certification in "PredictionX: Omens, Oracles, and Prophecies" from HarvardX in April 2020.
