Melanie Chapman

Melanie Chapman is an accomplished Medical Laboratory Scientist currently employed at Glenwood Regional Medical Center since November 2021. With extensive experience in medical technology, Melanie has held various academic and clinical roles, including Assistant Professor and Course Instructor at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and Medical Technologist positions at multiple healthcare facilities. Prior roles at St. Francis Medical Center included Program Director for the Program in Medical Technology and various Medical Technologist positions in microbiology, general laboratory, chemistry, and hematology. Melanie holds a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision and a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, both from Northeast Louisiana University.
