Carlos Paniagua has a diverse work experience, starting in 2006 as the General Secretary at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala. Carlos then worked as a Training Manager at the IT Education Centre of Excellence India from 2007 to 2008. Carlos then joined ACS, a Xerox Company, in 2009 as a Software Development Specialist, where they led a team of five developers and communicated regularly with client leadership. In 2010, they became a Junior Researcher at the University of Tartu, conducting extensive research in mobile cloud computing and developing applications and frameworks. Finally, in 2012, Carlos became the CTO & Co-Founder at Glia, a company that specializes in simplifying and transforming communications between businesses and their customers.
Carlos Paniagua has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences and Engineering from the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala. Carlos also holds two Master's degrees, one in Computer Software Engineering from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology and another in Computer Software Engineering - Embedded Real-Time Systems from the University of Tartu.
