Bry Nguyen

Bry Nguyen has worked in various roles since 2012. In 2012, they completed an internship at Amazing Creations Preschool where they created and executed activities designed for preschoolers that help childhood skill developments and supervised the children. In 2013, they worked as a Medical Assistant at Los Gatos Eye Care, performing peripheral tests, OCT scans, auto refractor, visual acuities, retinal photos, and reviews of medical health on patients, as well as managing inventory and scribing for doctors during examinations. In 2016, they worked as a Freelance Web Developer for Independent Contractor, maintaining websites of smaller businesses by adding, removing and modifying content based on clients' request. Bry also worked as a Health, Safety, and Technology Coordinator at iD Tech Camps, managing and administering all medications to the campers, teaching and aiding instructors/campers in C++, Java, Python, Photoshop, Illustrator, and web development, and reporting to all health, safety, and tech related issues that arise. In 2017, they worked as a Contract Engineer for COOL-LITE, creating an online catalog that features smart LED lighting retrofits/solutions at an industrial level and assisting with onsite consulting for industrial LED lighting needs. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for Wheelwell, Inc. and as a Software Engineer for Retromodernusa, developing, managing and maintaining the shop website along with working directly with the founder with projects and bespoke products for Mazda Miatas. In 2020, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for Glide and as a Software Engineer for RaiseMe, working on a tight-knit team in a fast-moving environment to build engaging features to motivate students and help educators drive student success.

Bry Nguyen attended Foothill College from 2013-2017, earning an Associate's degree in Computer Science. Bry then attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2015-2017, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
