Cherrie Atilano currently serves as the Director on the Board of Directors for the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) since June 2020. Atilano is also a Young Global Leader, Co-Chairperson, and Ambassador at the World Economic Forum, holding these positions since 2013. Additionally, Atilano is a Lead Group Member of the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement since September 2019 and is the Founding Farmer and President of AGREA, alongside being Co-Founder and President of both Bhumi and Hatienda since 2014. Atilano's educational background includes an Executive Education course at Harvard Kennedy School, Change Leadership for Sustainability at Stanford University, an Executive Course on Food Systems at Waginegen University, Sustainability Leadership and Management at the Swedish Institute, a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Visayas State University, and a course in Chinese contemporary culture and language at Zhejiang Gongshang University.
