Adam Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Adam began their career as a Quality Control Intern at Nelson Laboratories, Inc. in 2008, where they validated the functionality of microbiological instruments and audited laboratory sections.
In 2007, Adam worked at Brigham Young University as a Data Entry Specialist, ensuring proper documentation and performing data entry tasks for university offices. Additionally, they served as an Undergraduate Researcher, training lab companions and conducting dissections to study the impact of genes and Wnt signaling on limb development.
Adam then joined Myriad Genetics in 2011 as a Clinical Data Specialist, where they supervised and mentored new employees, presented training sessions, and implemented solutions for troubleshooting complex data. Adam continued to gain experience in data management and analysis roles, serving as a Research Associate and Research Associate II at Myriad RBM, Inc. Adam'sresponsibilities included training, project management, data quality analysis, and technical support.

Most recently, Adam worked at the Global Coalition for Adaptive Research, starting as a Data Manager in 2021. Adam formed the clinical data management department, hired and trained new team members, and oversaw data management activities. Adam then advanced to the position of Sr. Manager Clinical Data Management, where they continued to lead the department and oversee data management for all studies. Currently, they hold the role of Associate Director of Clinical Data Management at the same organization.
