Stewart Smith

Stewart Smith has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Stewart is currently the Managing Director at Global-e, a platform that facilitates global cross-border e-commerce. Prior to this, they served as the Chair of the School of Accounting, Information Systems, and Supply Chain Industry Advisory Board at RMIT University. Stewart also held key positions at Australia Post, including Director of Strategic Accounts and General Manager International. Before joining Australia Post, they were a Sales Advisory Board Member at Plymouth State University. Early in their career, Stewart worked at DHL, where they held several roles including Head of Commercial and Senior Manager for National Accounts. Stewart also worked as a Consultant at Logistics Recruitment and Proactive Recruitment Solutions Ltd. Before that, they served as a National Account Manager at Mayne Logistics and as a Sales Executive at International Freight Consolidators. Stewart started their career as a Customs Clerk at EGL International.

In 2008, Stewart earned a DHL First Choice (Six Sigma) Brown Belt certification, specializing in Six Sigma (DMAIC) training. In 2010, they obtained a Diploma in Logistics from AGB Training. In 2012, Stewart received the DHL Certified International Manager certification from DHL. Finally, in 2015, they became a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) after completing the Transport and Logistics Certification Council's program by The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Australia, focusing on logistics, materials, and supply chain management.
