Thomas Van den Houten

Thomas Van den Houten has a diverse work experience. Thomas began their career in 2009 as a professional soccer player for N.V. RBC Roosendaal, followed by stints at R.O.C. de Charleroi-Marchienne, HSV Hoek, and SC Telstar. In 2016, they worked as an intern at Bluetrace before joining Groupe PSA as a Bachelor Thesis B2B researcher in 2018. In 2017, they played football for AFC Amsterdam, and from 2020 to 2021, they played for SV Spakenburg.

In terms of their non-sports-related career, Thomas worked at Global Enterprise Partners from 2019 onwards. Thomas initially joined as an Associate Recruitment Consultant and subsequently worked their way up to Senior Recruitment Consultant, Principal Recruitment Consultant, and finally Sales Team Manager. In their role as Sales Team Manager, Thomas was responsible for managing the FMCG market, leading a team of 6 FTE, and providing IT consultancy support to major consumer goods companies worldwide.

Thomas Van den Houten pursued their education from various institutions. From 2006 to 2010, they attended CIOS Goes, where they completed their MBO 4 degree. In 2012, they enrolled in HZ University of Applied Sciences and graduated with a degree in IBMS (International Business & Management Studies) in 2016. During their time at HZ University of Applied Sciences, they also pursued a Minor in Sales/Verkoop/Sales en marketing from 2014 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Thomas obtained certifications in Introduction to Data Analytics for Business and Building Your Leadership Skills from Coursera in August 2020 and June 2020 respectively.
