Kathryn Forrest

Kathryn Forrest is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications at the Global Entrepreneurship Network since April 2021, where responsibilities include content creation, media relations, and executive communications for a non-profit operating in over 200 countries. Kathryn Forrest is also the Founder and Chief Communicator of Kathryn Forrest Communications, providing digital communication services to various clients. Previous roles include Communications Manager for the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries, where Kathryn Forrest led stakeholder relations campaigns, and Senior Advisor at Startup Canada, managing a team in strategic communications and marketing initiatives. Additional experience includes positions at the Agri-food Management Institute and Sun Media, among others. Kathryn Forrest holds a Combined Honours degree in Journalism and Communication Studies from Carleton University.
