Valencia Tanoesoedibjo began their work experience in 2013 as a Sales Business Development intern at Versace. In 2014, they participated in a summer internship program at UBS, where they received training on becoming a next-generation leader in family businesses. Later that year, they joined MNC Media as a Business Development Intern, and they gradually rose through the ranks to become the Director of Digital Business. In 2019, Valencia took on the role of Managing Director at both Global TV and RCTI+, where they oversaw daily operations, program monitoring, creative input, revenue generation, and partnerships.
Valencia Tanoesoedibjo earned an Executive MBA degree in Business Administration and Management from Columbia Business School from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, Valencia completed a Master of Communication & Management - MA degree in Integrated Management at the University of Technology Sydney in 2013-2014. In addition, Valencia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Studies & English Literature from the University of Sydney from 2010 to 2012. Valencia also pursued executive education in Global Business from Harvard Business School Online in 2020 and completed an executive education program in Value Investing from Columbia Business School in 2019. Furthermore, Valencia undertook a summer course in Fashion Merchandising at the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2017 and obtained a Certificate II in Make-Up Artist/Specialist from the Cameron Jane Institute of Makeup Artistry in 2014.
