Utteeyo Dasgupta is an accomplished academic in the field of economics, currently serving as an Associate Professor of Economics at Fordham University since September 2021. Dasgupta holds multiple research affiliations, including roles as a Research Fellow at the IZA - Institute of Labor Economics and as a Fellow at the Global Labor Organization, both positions starting in July 2020. Additionally, Dasgupta has been a Senior Research Associate at the Center for International Policy Studies at Fordham University since June 2015. Previous positions include Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Economics at Wagner College from July 2014 to August 2021 and Assistant Professor of Economics at Franklin & Marshall College from July 2006 to June 2014. Dasgupta earned a PhD and M.A. in Economics from the University of Arizona and also holds an M.A. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru Vishvavidyalaya.
