Scott Morse has a diverse work experience, starting in 2017 as a music composer and guitarist for Tertium Quid. Scott then worked as a resident jazz musician for Norweigan Cruise Line Holdings, where they traveled internationally and received basic maritime training. In 2019, Scott worked as a software development intern at Timbergrove, specializing in IoT technology. Scott also taught programming as a programming instructor at Girl Develop It, focusing on JavaScript education. From 2019 to 2021, Scott worked at Mesa, initially as a front-end developer and later as a full-stack technical lead, where they gained experience in React, Java, Python, and AWS. Most recently, Scott joined ChalkCast as a frontend engineer, where they contributed to a complex React application with video conferencing and virtual classroom features, leading a TypeScript migration and implementing new features. In 2022, Scott started working as a senior software engineer at Global Music Rights.
Scott Morse received their Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas from 2012 to 2016. In addition, they obtained a certification in Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2019.
