Tamhara Hernandez (she-her)

Tamhara Hernandez, SHRM-SCP, has extensive work experience in HRIS and HR management roles. Tamhara currently works as the Director of HRIS at Global Partners LP, where they are responsible for overseeing the Workday system. Prior to this, they were the Director of HRIS at Alvarez & Marsal, where they provided strategic direction and analysis for the global HRIS solution. Tamhara also held roles as the Manager of HRIS and Senior HRIS Analyst at the same company, where they managed system configuration, business process management, and support for global payroll and benefits in Workday.

Before joining Alvarez & Marsal, Tamhara worked as an HRIS Specialist at Masonite International, where they ensured data quality and provided end-user training for Workday. Additionally, they worked as an independent consultant at TTHR Consulting LLC, advising small businesses on HR solutions and providing training expertise.

Tamhara's earlier experience includes roles as the Staff Development & Training General Manager at Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union, Branch Manager at Andrews Federal Credit Union, and Branch Manager - AVP at SunTrust Bank. Throughout their career, they have consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in HR systems, and a commitment to driving process optimization and automation.

Tamhara Hernandez, SHRM-SCP (she-her), obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business - Finance from the University of Phoenix from 2006 to 2009. In 2008, they also earned a Facilitation and Design Certification from The Association for Talent Development (ATD, formerly ASTD). Prior to their university education, they attended Wolmer's High School for Girls. In terms of additional certifications, Tamhara obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional designation from SHRM in August 2015. Tamhara also holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, which they obtained in January 2014. Additionally, they are a Certified Instructional Designer/Developer, having obtained this certification from Langevin Learning Services in February 2009.
