John D.

John D. has extensive work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. John most recently worked at Global Payments Integrated as the Director of Test Engineering starting in November 2020. Prior to that, they were the Test Engineering Manager at the same company from July 2018 to November 2020.

Before joining Global Payments Integrated, John worked at TP ICAP as a QA Lead from November 2016 to July 2018. In this role, they were responsible for defining test plans, analyzing release impacts, creating test cases, and running exploratory testing. John also provided guidance on tool selection and building automation frameworks.

From October 2013 to November 2016, John worked at Visa as a Staff QA Engineer. John led the QA efforts within the Data Platform team and played a key role in rolling out strategic initiatives for the NI Test Team. Prior to that, they were a Senior QA Engineer at Visa, responsible for managing integration, functional, and regression testing within the Payment Acceptance function.

John's career also includes roles at CyberSource as a QA Engineer from February 2009 to October 2010, at American Dynamics as a QA Engineer from June 2008 to February 2009, at HBOS as a Technical Test Analyst from June 2006 to June 2008, and at Microsoft as a Software Test Engineer from June 2004 to September 2005.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated expertise in testing various software solutions, implementing automation, and ensuring the overall quality of releases. John has experience in Agile environments and has worked with a range of technologies, including Java and .NET.

John D. attended Queen's University Belfast from 2002 to 2006 where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science, which included professional experience in the field.
