Ryan Johnson

Ryan Johnson has over 20 years of work experience in the software development field. Ryan started their career at Bosch Packaging Technology as an Accounting & I.T. Manager, where they designed and developed accounting and manufacturing software. Ryan then worked at Digital Gateway, Inc as a Senior Software Developer - Team Lead, where they gained extensive experience in T-SQL, database design, Microsoft SQL Server administration, and programming in C#, C++, VB, ASP, and SQL. Ryan also has experience with PCI-DSS credit card processing security requirements and Agile methodologies.

After their time at Digital Gateway, Inc, Ryan worked at ProPay as a Senior Software Developer and later at Centauri Development LLC as a Development Manager, where they worked on custom development jobs using various technologies. Currently, they are working at Global Payments Integrated as a Senior Software Developer, focusing on creating integrated solutions for POS/ECR/ERP systems to accept and process credit card payments while maintaining compliance with PCI requirements. Their responsibilities include writing code in C#, working with credit card device hardware, refactoring code, and debugging. Throughout their career, Ryan has demonstrated strong programming skills, knowledge of data analysis and reporting, and effective communication abilities.

Ryan Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management and Finance from Brigham Young University from 1995 to 1998. Ryan also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from the same university during the same time period. From 2002 to 2004, they pursued an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science at Utah Valley University. In addition to their formal education, Ryan Johnson obtained certifications such as an Amateur Radio License - Amateur Extra Class from the Federal Communications Commission in May 2022 and an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2022.
