Daniel Martin

Daniel Martin has extensive legal experience in corporate and commercial law, currently serving as Senior Associate General Counsel at Global Payments Inc. since December 2017. In this role, Daniel manages legal aspects for the UK and Ireland's acquiring, eCommerce, and electronic point of sale businesses, while also supporting subsidiaries across various European countries. Previously, as Senior Corporate Counsel at Geldards LLP, Daniel was involved in commercial and corporate legal matters, specializing in a diverse range of sectors, and playing a key role in mergers and acquisitions. Earlier experience includes serving as Corporate and Commercial Solicitor at Edward Hands and Lewis, where Daniel focused on legal services for lettings and property management transactions, and as a Trainee Solicitor at Spearing Waite LLP. Academic qualifications include a Legal Practice Course from Nottingham Trent University and Bachelor of Laws degrees from Uppsala University and the University of Reading.
