Denise Marnell Gurshin is a seasoned professional in the seafood industry with extensive experience in market and supply chain development. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Market Development Asia at Global Seafood Alliance since March 2019, Denise has held various leadership roles, including Director of Market Development for South Asia and Southeast Asia, and Global Business Development Manager for Supply Chain Engagement. Prior experience includes self-employment as a consultant from November 2018 to October 2023, and positions at High Liner Foods as Commodity Manager for Aquaculture Procurement and Buyer. Denise began their career as an Aquaculture Buyer at Fishery Products International and as a Buyer at Stavis Seafoods. Educationally, Denise holds a Master's degree in Fisheries & Allied Aquacultures from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science in Botany/Plant Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
