Derin Catli

Derin Catli serves as the Assistant Director of Security at Global Security and Investigative Services since January 2023. Prior experience includes holding the position of Director of Security and First Senior Vice President at New York Community Bank from May 2022 to September 2022, and various roles at Sterling National Bank from October 2014 to May 2022, including Director of Cyber/Physical Security Monitoring and Response. Earlier career roles encompass President of Sales & Consulting at Team Services Incorporated and Regional Security Manager at Key Corporate & Commercial Bank. Catli’s foundational experience includes a career with the Passaic County Sheriff's Department as a Detective (Retired). Catli holds an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Sussex County Community College, and completed training at the Passaic County Police Academy in both Municipal Police and County Corrections classes.
