Jay Chiang

Jay Chiang has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Jay started their career at Honeywell in 1987, working as a System Engineer and Project Manager. In 1989, they joined Mentor Graphics as an AE, Account Manager, and Marketing Specialist. From 1993 to 1995, they worked at Dynapro Inc. as a Hardware Design Engineer. Jay then moved on to CAF Technology, Inc. in 1995, where they served as the Managing Director of their US North West Office. In 1996, they joined Xinex Networks as a Senior ASIC Engineer until 1998 when they started working for Synopsys, Inc. Here, they held the position of Product Marketing and Business Development Director, focusing on developing new business and channel in China. Most recently, they worked as the CEO of Shanghai InfoTM Microelectronics Co. Ltd. from 2014 to 2015. Currently, they are the AsiaPac Executive Director at the Global Semiconductor Alliance, where they work with the AsiaPac Leadership Council to provide a collaboration platform and curates top global leadership events in the semiconductor industry.

Jay Chiang completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University in the years 1981 to 1985. Jay then pursued higher education and obtained a Master's degree in Management in Science and Technology from Oregon Health & Science University from 1998 to 2001.
