Filipe Proença

Filipe Proença is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience at Global Shares since January 2014, progressing through various roles from Software Engineer to Senior Manager of Software Engineering. In the current position, Filipe manages two Scrum teams comprising 15 members, collaborating closely with Team Leads, Product Owners, and Architects to design and implement software features. Prior experience includes roles as Agile Team Lead, where responsibility encompassed managing work backlogs and sprint ceremonies, and Senior Software Engineer, focusing on development within an Equity Plan Management Platform. Earlier career stages at Link Consulting involved consultancy roles across BPM, SOA, and Enterprise Content Management, along with involvement in enterprise architecture and IT governance. Filipe holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems and Computer Science Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
