Aaron Epstein

Aaron Epstein, M.D. has a diverse work experience in various organizations. In 2015, they founded and became the President of the Global Surgical and Medical Support Group, an organization that provides medical support and training in austere settings worldwide. Aaron also worked as a Subject Matter Expert at the Irregular Warfare Center from 2023. In addition, Dr. Epstein served as a Fulbright Specialist at the U.S. Department of State, consulting on healthcare and peace/security development for nation-states and non-state actors. Aaron worked as a Physician in General Surgery at the University at Buffalo starting from 2018. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Senior Consultant at the American University of Iraq - Baghdad.

Aaron Epstein, M.D. graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Master's Degree in SSP - Intelligence and Security Studies from Georgetown University in 2012. In 2008, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in International Policy Analysis & Economics at Rice University. Additionally, they briefly studied International Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2006-2007.
