Erin Hubbard has a diverse work experience in the engineering and construction industry. Erin currently serves as the Sr. Director of Engineering & Construction at Global Water Resources, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Liberty Utilities from 2019 to 2023, where they held roles such as Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering (Interim).
From 2017 to 2019, Erin worked at Cambrian Innovation Inc as a Sr. Project Manager. During their time there, they led projects for the design, installation, and commissioning of pretreatment facilities for various customers, ensuring customer satisfaction in Central and Northern California.
Before that, Erin was a Senior Associate at alliantgroup from 2014 to 2016, where they reviewed and certified building energy use models for tax and building code compliance. Erin also worked as a Project Engineer / Associate, where they gained valuable knowledge in energy modeling and building concepts.
Additionally, Erin worked at PERC Water Corporation from 2011 to 2014, holding the positions of Director of CentralPERC & Engineering Project Manager and Director of CentralPERC. In these roles, they managed design-build-operate projects and created a mobile delivery platform for wastewater treatment facility oversight.
Erin's earlier experiences include working as an Energy & Environment Specialist at Verisae from 2009 to 2010, where they led the delivery of energy use and sustainability metric focused services. Erin also worked as a Project Manager at PACE Advanced Water Engineering from 2000 to 2007, where they supervised interdisciplinary teams and achieved high labor efficiency.
Before entering the professional field, Erin gained valuable experience as a Watershed Management Intern at River Alliance of Wisconsin and as an Engineering Co-op Student at USDA-NRCS. Overall, Erin Hubbard has extensive experience in engineering, construction, and environmental management.
Erin Hubbard, PMP, MBA, PE has a diverse education history that spans several institutions and fields of study. In 2007, they attended the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, where they completed an MBA with a specialization in Innovation and Green companies. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, Erin studied Project Management at UC Irvine.
Earlier in their academic career, Erin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Erin attended the university from 1995 to 2000. Before entering higher education, Erin completed their high school education at West Salem High School.
In addition to their academic achievements, Erin holds several certifications. Erin is a Project Management Professional (PMP), having obtained this certification from the Project Management Institute in April 2019. Erin is also a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and has obtained this credential from multiple state licensing boards, including the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (January 2015), the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration (February 2005), and the California Department of Consumer Affairs (June 2004).
Furthermore, Erin has pursued additional certifications related to their professional field, including certifications in various aspects of water and wastewater treatment and distribution systems. These certifications include Water Distribution System Operator Grade 3 (obtained in April 2022), Water Treatment Plant Operator Grade 3 (obtained in January 2022), Wastewater Treatment System Operator Grade 2 (obtained in December 2021), and Wastewater Collection System Operator Grade 2 (obtained in October 2021).
Erin also maintains an active NCEES Profile, which is a platform for additional state licensing in engineering. Additionally, they have completed the OSHA 10 Hr. training, further demonstrating their commitment to safety in their professional endeavors.
