Yee Tze Lim has a work experience spanning several companies and roles. They started their career at Hewlett-Packard in 2001, working as an Engineer until 2005. They then joined Honeywell as an IP Licensing Executive, both as an intern and in a full-time role until 2009. In 2009, Yee Tze Lim joined the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore as an Assistant Director, where they were responsible for assisting government agencies in setting up IP management capabilities and analyzing the government's patent portfolio. In 2010, they moved on to UTAC as a Senior Patent Engineer and worked there until 2012. Finally, since 2012, Yee Tze Lim has been at GlobalFoundries, holding roles such as Sr Lead Patent Engineer and Staff Patent Engineer.
Yee Tze Lim has a BASc in Materials Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, which they earned from 1997 to 2001. Yee Tze also has a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the Singapore Institute of Management, which they obtained from 2004 to 2005. In addition, they hold a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Intellectual Property Management from the National University of Singapore, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. Furthermore, Yee Tze Lim received a Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from the IP Academy in 2008 to 2009.
