Michael Lawrence

Michael Lawrence is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in web development and software engineering. Currently serving as Senior Director of Web Development at Global Industrial Company since June 2009, Michael has been instrumental in managing teams for e-commerce projects, including a significant UI and backend redesign of the flagship site. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Software Development Manager at Systemax, leading a 20-member team in maintaining multiple e-commerce sites. Michael's expertise also includes tenure at ProfitCenter Software as Team Lead/Senior Java Developer, where project management of a four-member team resulted in successful site implementations. Earlier, Michael contributed to the development of CA’s award-winning Portal software as a Senior Software Engineer. Michael holds a BA in Computer Science from Boston University and an MBA in General Business from Long Island University.
