Salman Aftab

Salman Aftab is an experienced Information Technology and Security Manager at Globalink Logistics Group since August 2006, with extensive expertise in data management, disaster recovery, and network troubleshooting. Aftab authored the book "Linux Security & Unified Threat Management System" and contributed as a reviewer for "Mastering Linux Security and Hardening." Prior to this, Aftab held positions as a Linux Specialist at Cisnix Institute of Networks and as a System Engineer at Compuware in Dubai. With a background in system administration dating back to 1998, Aftab possesses expert-level knowledge in various Linux distributions and network security solutions. Aftab's educational qualifications include a graduate degree in Double Mathematics with Physics from the University of the Punjab, alongside earlier studies at Grammar School and Rawalpindi Grammar School.
