Ciaran O'Toole

Ciaran O'Toole has over 25 years of work experience in software engineering and management roles. Ciaran currently holds the position of Vice President of Software Engineering at Globalization Partners since November 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at the same company from June 2020 to November 2021.

Before joining Globalization Partners, Ciaran worked at SmartBear from 2017 to 2020. Ciaran held the position of Director of Software Development from April 2019 to May 2020 and previously served as the Senior Software Engineering Manager from January 2017 to March 2019.

From 2010 to 2016, Ciaran worked at Synchronoss Technologies where they held the role of Senior Software Engineering Manager and Site Manager from November 2012 to December 2016. Prior to that, they served as the Software Engineering Manager from September 2010 to November 2012.

Ciaran also worked at Prime Carrier as an Engineering Manager and Site Manager from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they were the Chief Architect and Co-Founder at AM-BEO from 2000 to 2005.

Ciaran'searlier work experience includes roles at AIG Europe as a Development Team Leader and Project Manager from 1998 to 2000, and at Dedicate as a Development Team Leader from 1996 to 1998.

Ciaran O'Toole holds a Higher Diploma in Systems Analysis which they obtained from the University of Galway in 1996. Prior to that, they pursued a B.Sc (Hons) in Mathematical Science with Computing from the same university, completing it in 1995. Before attending the University of Galway, Ciaran attended Colaiste Chroi Mhuire from 1985 to 1993, although the specific degree and field of study from that institution are not mentioned.
