Al Perry

Al has worked in the medical device industry for the past 20 years. In 2006, Al began working at Viant Medical as an Electronic Solderer and Quality Technician. Al was promoted to Lead Quality Engineer in 2009 and held this role until 2019. At this time, Al moved to West Pharmaceutical Services as a Senior Quality Systems Specialist until 2022. Currently, Al is Director of Quality and Regulatory Compliance at GlobalMed Telemedicine, where he is responsible for the Quality Management System, hosting agency, ISO and customer audits, and maintaining overall accountability for site quality and compliance.

Al has an extensive education history. Al received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Davenport University, Bachelor of Applied Science degree from Ferris State University and has completed a Leadership & Supervision program from Ferris State University. Al also holds an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree from ITT Technical Institute in Electronics Engineering Technology.

Al has also obtained several certifications, including EU MDR Auditor (Europe’s Medical Device Regulation 2017/745) from Oriel STAT A MATRIX, Essentials of Quality Management Systems: Auditing Process, and ISO 13485:2016 Lead Auditor (TPECS) from British Standards Institution Training Academy.
