Chelsea Coates

Chelsea Coates has over a decade of work experience in various roles related to learning and development, human resources, and organizational change. Chelsea is currently working at GWI as the Chief People Officer, leading the company's people and culture initiatives. Before joining GWI, Chelsea served as the VP of People & Culture at GWI and as the Head of Learning & Development. Prior to GWI, Chelsea worked as a Learning Manager at WeWork and as a Workday Training Lead & Change Partner at Arriva Group. Chelsea also gained valuable experience as the Head of Learning & Development at a company called Global and as a Learning & Development Manager at Groupon. Chelsea started their career as a Learning & Development Consultant at Bupa Australia and subsequently took on the role of Recruitment Consultant. Chelsea has a strong background in designing and delivering training programs, managing teams, and driving organizational change.

Chelsea Coates has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from RMIT University. Their area of focus during their studies included International Development, Languages, Cross Cultural Communication, and Conflict Resolution. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Workday HCM Fundamentals from Workday, Personal Strengths TotalSDI from TotalSDI, CIPD level 3 from CIPD, and a Certificate IV in Frontline Management from Stanborough Wemyss Contracting Pty Ltd.
