Carl Tipton

Carl Tipton's work experience spans across several industries and roles over the past few decades. Their most recent role is as a COO at Global[X]Digital since April 2021. Before that, they were the General Manager at 7725 Connect, leading the mission-critical business campus in central Oklahoma since January 2016. Carl was also the President at MIDCON Data Services, LLC, managing the largest Records Management Company in Oklahoma and its facilities from August 2004 until December 2015. In addition, they have held several senior leadership positions in various companies, including Director of Engineering at Celestica, Director of Engineering Director at Lucent, and Senior Manager/CIO at Lucent Technologies. Their previous roles at AT&T include Manager of Purchasing and Transportation, Operating Manager, Technical Manager, Storeroom Supervisor, and Computer Product Engineer. Throughout their career, Carl has achieved significant accomplishments, such as championing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma programs at Celestica, managing the design and cutover of Lucent's ERP system, and managing an environment of over 120 servers and 6,000 node network at Lucent Technologies.

Carl Tipton earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University in 1983. After that, they pursued their Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University which they completed in 1989.
