Andrew McLaughlin

Andrew McLaughlin is a seasoned executive currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at SandboxAQ since September 2024, focusing on the intersection of AI and quantum technologies to tackle cybersecurity challenges. In addition to this role, Andrew is a Member of the Board of Directors at Globant and Starknet Foundation, and co-founded Higher Ground Labs, which invests in tech-driven startups to bolster democratic institutions. With extensive experience as a Venture Partner at betaworks and a former President & COO at Assembly OSM, Andrew has a strong entrepreneurial background. Previous board memberships include Electric Coin Company and Chartbeat, alongside serving as Executive Director of the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale. Andrew holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA in History from Yale University.
