Diego Maldonado

At Globant, Diego Maldonado serves as Managing Director of Adaptive Organizations, leading the Studios responsible for the enterprise applications implementation services, including Salesforce.com, SAP, ServiceNow, Oracle, UiPATH, and others.

Diego served as CEO and founding partner of Avanxo, a pioneer in Cloud Computing technologies in Latin America, which was acquired by Globant in 2019. Since 2003 he has been spearheading the processes of adoption, digital transformation, and application of Cloud technologies throughout Latin America’s most prominent companies. Prior to founding Avanxo, Diego was employed by Compaq Computer Corporation in Houston, where he was in charge of the Financial and Telecommunications divisions for Latin America. He began his professional career in Accenture’s Advanced Technology systems group in New York and was involved in the implementation of technological solutions in companies in the financial sector in the United States, Asia, and Europe.

Diego is a Manufacturing Engineer from Boston University, with a Master's Degree in Mechanical and Robotic Engineering from Columbia University in New York.
