Brian Yost has a diverse range of work experience spanning over three decades. Brian is currently working as an Executive Business Coach at GloCoach since December 2018, where they provide customized online coaching to executives in rapidly growing companies in Asia. Brian primarily works with Nestle and has successfully helped a female leader in the team get promoted to the youngest Director-level leader in the company.
Before joining GloCoach, Brian was the Principal/Owner of Yost and Associates, a role they held since May 2007. In this position, they guided client leadership in realizing their visions through organizational transformation, performance improvement, capability development, and change leadership initiatives. Brian also rescued six failing Change Management initiatives that were initially supported by Big Six/Four consultants.
Brian's earlier experiences include working as an Adjunct Faculty in the MBA Program at Ellis University from 2005 to 2016, as a Senior Consultant at the International Center for Organization Design from 1998 to 2006, and as a Managing Consultant at Network Associates from 1994 to 1998.
Brian also served as the Director of Organization Effectiveness at Georgia-Pacific LLC/Crown Zellerbach Corporation from June 1988 to May 1994, where they initiated and successfully managed a corporate transformational turnaround, leading the company from the bottom to the top of its industry. From 1986 to 1988, Brian worked as the Vice President of Human Resource Planning and Development at Wells Fargo/Crocker National Bank.
Throughout their career, Brian has worked with notable clients and organizations such as HP, Exxon, Shell, Digital, Bank of America, Gulf, Mobil, and Kellogg. Their expertise lies in organization transformation, performance improvement, capability development, change leadership, and coaching leaders, teams, and consultants.
Brian Yost has a Bachelor's degree in Business with a focus on Organizational Behavior, obtained from Harvard, UCLA, and the University of Washington. Brian also holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from an unspecified institution. In addition to their academic accomplishments, Brian has obtained the Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner certification from Prosci in June 2021. Brian also has certifications in Consulting and Managing Consulting from Network Associates, as well as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from SHRM.
