Pierre Vincent

Pierre Vincent has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Pierre currently holds the position of Director of Engineering, Site Reliability at Glofox, a role they started in October 2022. Prior to that, Pierre served as the Head of SRE at Glofox from February 2020 to October 2022.

Before joining Glofox, Pierre worked at Poppulo as the Infrastructure and Reliability Manager from August 2018 to February 2020. Pierre then transitioned to become the Site Reliability Engineering Manager and led a newly formed team focused on delivering value to customers by providing capabilities and guidance to Product Development teams.

Pierre's responsibilities at Poppulo included consolidating CI/CD pipelines, building self-service Kubernetes deployments, setting up monitoring and observability platforms, and providing additional tooling for application operability.

Prior to their roles at Poppulo, Pierre served as a Technical Team Lead and a Lead Software Developer - Scrum Master at the company. Pierre joined Poppulo in September 2009 as a Software Developer and was involved in the development and maintenance of the Newsweaver 2.0 J2EE Web-Application.

Pierre also gained experience as a Program Chair at RebelCon in 2018 and as a Web Developer at Magik Studio in 2006, where they focused on web development using PHP, MySQL, xHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Pierre Vincent obtained a Master of Science degree in Software Development from the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Rennes, from 2005 to 2008. Pierre also earned a Master of Science degree in Software Development from Munster Technological University, from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed a DEUG degree in Mathematics from Université de Rennes I, from 2003 to 2005. In 2019, Pierre Vincent received certification as an Offensive Security Certified Professional from Offensive Security.
