Andrew J. Young

Andrew J. Young is a Marine and Production Engineer at Glosten since January 2014, specializing in engineering mechanical systems for the marine industry, including ballast water treatment, research vessels, and scientific instrument installations. Prior to Glosten, Andrew J. Young worked at Delta Marine Industries from September 2008 to November 2013 as a Mechanical Engineer, where responsibilities included creating piping and instrumentation diagrams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing mechanical designs for manufacturing. Earlier experience includes a mechanical engineering role at Sabre Engineering, focusing on prototype vehicle development and modular construction details, as well as a brief opportunity as a student on a sailing expedition with Sea|mester. Andrew J. Young holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, complemented by a semester abroad at Lancaster University in 2006.
