Michael Stephenson

Michael Stephenson has extensive experience in the creative media field, currently serving as the Curriculum Leader in Creative Media Practice and a Lecturer in Creative Media & Photography at Gloucestershire College since October 2019, with prior roles as a volunteer lecturer in photography. Prior to this, Michael held the position of Managing Director at Venture Photography Cheltenham from February 2003 to October 2019 and worked as a Senior Photographer & Style Director at Venture Witney from March 2001 to January 2003. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Photography from the University of Gloucestershire, an Award in Education & Training from Gloucestershire College, a BA (Hons) in Television and Film Production with a focus on Photography from the University of Portsmouth, an HND in Time-Based Media with a Television and Film pathway from Newcastle College, and a BTEC ND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering for Television Studio Operations and Television Production from Ashington College of Arts & Technology.
