Peter L. Burrows

Peter Burrows currently serves as the Superintendent for Milton Public Schools since June 2023. Previously, Peter held the role of Superintendent at Addison Central School District from July 2013 to June 2023. Peter co-directed the Snelling Center for Government's Vermont statewide leadership program from July 2015 to December 2022, focusing on organizational change and leadership development. Peter's earlier positions include Principal, Assistant Principal, and Teacher at Willamette High School from July 2004 to June 2013, and Professor of English at both Korea University and Universidad del Mar. Peter began the career in education as a volunteer with The PRASAD Project and later served as Head Teacher at Gakushinkan English School and an English Teacher at Nova Intercultural Institute. Peter holds a Doctor of Education from the University of Oregon, a Master of Arts from the School for International Training, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon.
