Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer at SMART Technologies, contributing to the development of collaborative solutions and hardware for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices since July 2010. Previously, Chris served as a Firmware Engineer in the same company, where responsibilities included firmware development for similar educational tools. Chris also worked as an Electronics Contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on electronics design and repair for educational devices from September 2008 to August 2011. Prior experience includes a Teaching Assistant role at the University of Calgary, facilitating laboratory sessions and assessments, and an Electronics Engineer position at Grindcom, developing control systems for forestry harvester units. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
