Damon R. Carbajal

Damon R. Carbajal, MA, currently serves as the Manager of Community Mobilization and Managing Director for GLSEN NM since December 2022. In addition to this role, Damon holds a position as Adjunct Faculty at Central New Mexico Community College since August 2022. Previous experience includes serving as Business Director and Executive Director Administrative Assistant at NAPPR, Inc. from June 2020 to November 2022, as well as a 9th Grade Teacher and Substitute Teacher at Albuquerque Public Schools between August 2018 and May 2022. Damon also worked as a Graduate Assistant at The University of New Mexico from August 2019 to May 2021 and has held various roles at NAPPR, Inc. from August 2016 to December 2019. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Chicanx Studies and a Certificate in "Race" and Social Justice from The University of New Mexico, alongside a Bachelor's of Education in Secondary Education and Teaching.
