Sophia Ayala

Sophia Ayala is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product development and merchandising, currently serving as the Product Development and Merchandising Director at Capelli New York since May 2019. In this role, Sophia directs all design, development, and merchandising for private label brands and manages a team of seven. Previous positions include Product Development Manager and Product Design Associate at Capelli New York, Associate Product Manager at Fantasia Accessories, and various roles that involved product design, development, and sales support. Sophia holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Fashion Merchandising Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology, obtained in 2016.
